"Do not be conformed to the patterns or thinking of this world, but be daily transformed by the daily  renewing of your mind by the word of God" (Romans 12:2).

This verse highlights the importance of not conforming to the patterns of the world but instead be transformed by renewing our minds through the Word of God. By submitting ourselves to the transformative power of God's Word, we can become new people made in the image of Christ, as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We can become "a new creation" through Christ, which means that the old self has passed away and a new self has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). This new self is being transformed daily by the Word of God and is no longer a slave to former evil desires or passions. Instead, we become a slave to God's righteousness and are empowered to obey His commands and do His will, as it says in Romans 6:17-18.

Through the transformative power of God's Word, our self-perception changes, Instead, we are being transformed into a new person with a with a new mindset and attitude, as it says in Philippians 2:5.

This new self-awareness is not dependent on what others think of us but is rooted in our identity in Christ, as it says in 1 Peter 2:9-10.

In conclusion, the Bible teaches us that we are not to conform to the patterns of this world but instead be transformed by daily renewing of our minds through the Word of God.

Through this transformation, we become a new creation, Our self-perception changes, and we are no longer slaves to other people's opinions or perceptions of us. Instead, we have a new self-awareness rooted in our identity in Christ.
