I have been crucified with Christ. I no longer live but the life I live now in my body, I live through Christ, who loves me and died for me Galatians 2.20
The blessings of our faith in Christ is the new life we enjoy through our faith in Christ Jesus. As Christ said, we become a new wine in a new wine bottle. we wear a new clothes of righteousness and holiness in Christ Jesus as we take off our old clothes of sins and impurities with the help of the holy spirit in us
Each day, the holy spirit, which is one of the gifts that we receive from God through our faith in Christ which changes us daily into Christ's image.
We become a new creation through Christ who lives in us. Our transgressions and sins have already been nailed on the cross when Christ was crucified. We have been given power to nail our transgressions and sins on the cross each day. As God's word states, "We have been given the power to step on scorpions and snakes, to overcome the power of the enemy and he would keep us from all harm"
Praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ that our old sinful nature has been nailed to the cross. while we are on this earthly life, our souls have been redeemed in Christ our savior as we look forward in the hope of being given our heavenly body when Christ comes again in the full glory of the Father.
As Our Lord Christ has encouraged us to like a branch of the vine, remain in him just as he is one in the Father and the Father is one in him. Our sinful nature would still war against our new spirit until we pass away from this earthly life but we know that we can daily confess our sins, that God is faithful to all his promises, he is fair and just . he would purge our hearts of all sins that lead to death when we confess our sins John 1.1.7
