Don't go too fast in life. Take your time to slow down, be still, and rest in the ever-present Helper—your Heavenly Father and your Lord, who is at your right hand (Psalm 16:8). He is a mighty rock for all who put their trust in Him (Psalm 18:2) and are well-protected, well-provided for, as obedient children who believe in His Son. We are precious, honored, and loved (Isaiah 43:4).

By going too fast, you not only miss the scenery, but you also risk losing your sense of direction—forgetting where you are going and why. So, be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for Him to speak and act (Psalm 37:7).

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)"It is in returning to me and resting in me that you shall be saved" (Isaiah 30:15).

Be still and take your time to enjoy each day, relying on God's grace, which is poured out more and more upon you (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Like Jeremiah, we can say, “When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty” (Jeremiah 15:16).

Thank You, Father, for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that enables us to say no to sin and find joy in Your salvation each day (Titus 2:11-12). Help us to slow down, appreciate Your blessings, and submit to You with grateful hearts, knowing that You hold the whole universe—including our future—in Your hands (Colossians 1:17).

Your plans for us are for good and not for evil—to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Thank You that we have this hope as an anchor for our souls, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19). Thank You that, through Jesus Christ, we have been born again into a living hope by His resurrection from the dead (1 Peter 1:3-4).

We rejoice in the inheritance in Christ that you have given us—one that can never perish, fade away, or be destroyed—kept in heaven for us, and thank you for the free gift of the Holy Spirit to help us in our weaknesses and direct us in the God' ways that are everlasting (Ephesians 1:13-14).
