"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalm 46:10). Not one word of God will ever fail, for His sovereign will shall be done in heaven and on earth. On the day of the Lord’s second coming, His glory will cover the whole earth. So be still, and do not focus on the chaos of the world. Many are walking in darkness, ignorant of God’s power, doing evil and wicked things. They lack understanding of the truth, believing in the lies of the "father of lies," who has been a liar and murderer from the beginning and who holds the world in bondage to sin and disobedience (John 8:44, 1 John 5:19).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Hell is real, yet many walk in ignorance toward it instead of believing in the Son of God, the “light of the world” and “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 8:12, John 1:29). As it is written, “Broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But narrow is the way that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
There are only two choices before us: to believe in the Son, confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that He died for your sins and rose again for your justification, and be saved from the wrath to come (Romans 10:9-10). Or to refuse to believe, meaning the wrath of God remains upon you, and you will face God’s judgment against the wicked and ungodly who persist in disobedience and refuse to forsake their unrighteous ways (John 3:36, Romans 2:5).
Today is the day the Lord has made, the day that “the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone” (Psalm 118:22). The mighty hand of the Lord has done this, and we rejoice and are glad as we wait patiently and with joyful hope for the Lord’s second coming, which is near (Psalm 118:24). Believe in the Son today and be saved, for tomorrow may be too late. “The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night,” suddenly, as it was in the days of Noah, when people were eating, drinking, marrying, and the flood came unexpectedly. Only Noah, who believed and obeyed God, was saved along with his family from God’s judgment against the evil and wickedness of that time (1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, Matthew 24:37-39).
