Sovereign Lord, Creator of all that is seen in the universe, You hold the whole world in Your hand, controlling all things with power and authority. Help us to acknowledge Your sovereignty and submit to You. Knowing that You are our only source of strength, help, and refuge, our fortress of strength (Psalm 46:1-2). You have the final word over everything in the universe. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Help us to submit to You each day and walk in Your grace and light.

You alone are our help from heaven above, providing strength and divine guidance through Your living Word and the help of the Holy Spirit, a gift through our faith in Your Son, the Light of the world (John 8:12). You see us each day; You know our thoughts and motives. Nothing is hidden from Your eyes as You look down from heaven (Psalm 139:1-4). Your eyes search across the earth, seeking those who are faithful and who place their complete trust in You (2 Chronicles 16:9).

From the rising of the sun to its setting, Your holy name is to be praised, both now and forever (Psalm 113:3). You lift up the poor from the dust and the needy from the ash heap, setting them with princes, and You make the barren woman a joyful mother (Psalm 113:7-9).

May the eyes of our faith remain fixed on You, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Help us to look forward to our heavenly rewards as we stand firmly in faith, walking by Your Spirit and not by sight or our limited understanding (2 Corinthians 5:7; Galatians 5:16).

Help us to be like Moses, who, by faith, believed in You and served obediently, looking forward to his reward in heaven. He saw the One who is invisible and trusted You, even in the face of criticism and the unrelenting complaints of the Israelites (Hebrews 11:26-27). You kept him through the wilderness, guiding him as he led the Israelites to the promised land.

You keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). Blessed are those who, in their distress and afflictions, continue to trust and obey Your commands. Help us to walk in daily faith amidst a world that disobeys and refuses to repent, so that we may shine as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15), holding fast to faith in Your Son, sent as the Savior of the world (John 3:16).
