Underneath are the everlasting arms of the Lord" (Deuteronomy 33:27). The Lord is closer to us than the air we breathe. He is not far from us but nearer than we often think (Acts 17:27). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and you will find Him, for those who seek Him wholeheartedly will indeed find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).
"Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for Him to act" (Psalm 37:7). Thank you, Father, that Your everlasting arms are beneath all Your children, whom You love dearly and care for each day. You are our Good Shepherd and a forgiving God. You are with us in all our troubles; when we pray, You hear us and answer our prayers (Psalm 34:17).
Thank you for Your grace, mercy, and lovingkindness toward us each day. Help us not to dwell on former things or focus on the past, as You remind us in Isaiah 43:18. Help us not to worry about tomorrow, for "each day has enough trouble of its own" (Matthew 6:34). Instead, let us rejoice and be glad, for "this is the day the Lord has made" (Psalm 118:24).
We praise You this morning for Your unfailing love and thank You in the evening for Your faithfulness through the night (Psalm 92:2). Thank you for living within us and for the power that moves through us as You walk beside us on this journey—even through the valley of Baka—toward our heavenly home (Psalm 84:5-7).
Help us to be loving toward one another, to extend grace, and to encourage one another, especially the weak and vulnerable among Your people. Thank you that we, as Your beloved, redeemed, and fully accepted children, have our faith in You and in Your Son, who died to save our souls from the coming judgment upon those who reject Your gift of salvation (John 3:36; Ephesians 1:7).
Jesus is Lord—yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We place our faith in You, our God, and in Your Son, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
