We must do everything possible and use all necessary means to acknowledge and admit our lack of faith in God before we can move forward and become who God wants us to be in our behaviours, attitudes and conducts. Otherwise, what we are saying is merely words we do not truly believe or are fully convinced of in our minds.
We need to admit that we cannot do this on our own and that we need God’s help. By believing in His Son, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Faith as small as a mustard seed is enough to believe in Him and not doubt that He is able to do over and above what we think, expect or imagine (Matthew 17:20).
We must never allow doubt in our minds about God's ability to fulfil every promise we read in the Scriptures. we are called to believe in our beliefs and doubt our doubts , for doubts is from the enemy who wants us not to be effective and productive in our knowledge of Christ our lord
We must examine the measure of faith we have in God and in His Son. Jesus our lord and saviour reminds us that He is coming soon and asked question whether He will find faith on the earth when He returns in the full glory of the Father (Luke 18:8). Therefore, let us with steadfast hearts fix your mind on Christ, who is alive in us, and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Admitting to ourselves that we are not fully convinced of God's power to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or imagine is a humbling experience (Ephesians 3:20). Acknowledging our lack of faith is essential because faith is the key to receiving every promise of God. As Romans 4:21 says, we must be fully convinced in our minds that God is able to do and bring to perfection and completion , all he has promised by his word and promises in the scripture
Until we have this confidence, our lips may speak God’s Word, but our behaviour will not align with God's word, because of our unbelief and a lack of faith. We need to believe that God is with us in our fiery trials, that He can lead us through overwhelming waters without being swept away, and that He can take us through the fire without being consumed (Isaiah 43:2). He is faithful to carry out every promise (Hebrews 10:23).
Jesus reminds us that with man, some things may seem impossible, but with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We must become like little children before God, admitting the truth that apart from Him, we are nothing (John 15:5).
Victory over Satan, the world, and our sinful flesh comes only through our faith Christ Jesus and His finished work on the cross (Galatians 6:14). We must crucify our sinful desires and passions daily, remembering that we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. The life we now live, we live by faith in the Son of God, who loves us (Galatians 2:20). Jesus abides in us, and His words abide in us (John 15:7).
As we pray and saturate our minds with the Scriptures, our faith grows, and we overcome Satan and this fallen, sinful world (Romans 10:17). Believing every word of God allows Him to make us new creations in Christ. As Revelation 21:5 says, "Behold, I am making all things new."
As it is written "These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world" John 16:33
