There is no fear in love, for love covers a multitude of sins. In Christ Jesus, we have eternal life and complete forgiveness of all our past, present, and future sins.
As it is written:
"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love" (1 John 4:18).We have been made perfect in love by the blood of the Lamb, shed for the forgiveness of our sins on the cross by our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.
As it is also written:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
For all who believe in Christ—that He is the Son who came in the flesh to bear the atonement for the sins of mankind—this is their victory that overcomes the world and the evil one. But for all who do not believe, they remain dead in their sins and transgressions, and the wrath of God remains on them, as it is written:
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them" (John 3:36).
For all who believe in the Son, they move from death to life, for light and life are in the Son.
As Jesus said:
"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life" (John 5:24).
