We are God’s masterpiece, His artwork (Ephesians 2:10). If we are God’s handiwork, why do we disrespect one another? We should never disrespect others but see Christ in them, despite their flaws and weaknesses. Every person we meet each day is someone Christ loved enough to die for on the cross (John 3:16). We should not treat ourselves or others with disrespect, as inferior works, or as though they are outside God’s grace and mercy. God did not make a mistake when He created each of us. Each one of us was created in God’s image to reflect His glory (Genesis 1:27), and He rescued us from the grip of the evil one for the praise of His glory (Colossians 1:13).

Our sins are forgiven by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9), and we walk by faith every day, taking one step at a time, making sure we are not running ahead of Him, but walking in faith in step with Him (2 Corinthians 5:7). Trouble, opposition, trials, and temptation will come our way, but we should not be troubled or discouraged. Instead, take heart, for God is with us; He is our Emmanuel, who will never leave or forsake us (Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 13:5). The battle is already won, and Satan was defeated at the cross (Colossians 2:15). His total destruction is soon when his head will be crushed under our Savior’s feet (Romans 16:20), so we take heart and wait patiently for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is near (Revelation 22:12).

God intends for us to rejoice always, pray continually, and be patient in all our troubles and afflictions, giving thanks to Him in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Each one of us is in God’s will, and only His higher purpose for our lives will prevail in the end (Proverbs 19:21). We are called to seek Him and love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength, walking humbly beside Him (Mark 12:30, Micah 6:8). God’s will is for each of us to grow in the knowledge of Him and of our Savior, becoming spiritually mature and standing firm in faith, relying daily on His grace (2 Peter 3:18).

God has already promised that if we seek Him, we will find Him, if we seek Him wholeheartedly (Jeremiah 29:13). If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). God is closer to us than the air we breathe (Acts 17:27). Rest in God’s strength and power, which is daily transforming you into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29), conforming you to the likeness of His Son. Trust in God and put your faith in Him. He is faithful, trustworthy, righteous, and just. He is a way-maker, a promise-keeper, and a miracle-working God (Isaiah 55:8-9). His thoughts and ways are beyond human understanding, too profound for us to comprehend (Isaiah 55:9).
