We praise and exalt the name of Jesus and revere Him as the Son of God who took away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

Jesus is Lord today, now, yesterday, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). May our lips give unceasing praises and thanks for His self-sacrifice on the cross to redeem us sinners from our sinful nature.

We thank God for His perfect gift of His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (Romans 5:8). We thank God that because we believe in Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are saved from the coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10); punishment to come on the ungodly and unrepentant sinners, who continue to harden their hearts, so that they cannot see the light of the glory of God on the face of Jesus Christ, who is the exact image of the Father (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Jesus Christ has done it for us sinners, when He said, "It is finished" on the cross (John 19:30). His offer of salvation is open to all, for whoever believes in the Son has eternal life and is saved from the coming wrath of God against the wicked, unrepentant who refuse to repent, turn away from their wickedness, and make the Lord their only place of refuge and make peace with Him in their hearts (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10).

Let us therefore go forth with courage and conviction, sharing the good news of God's grace through our faith in  Jesus Christ  28:19-20). For in Him alone is true peace, hope, and everlasting life. Amen.
