“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

In Christ, our Lord and Savior, we have a Good Shepherd in whom we lack nothing, for He supplies us with everything we need each day. His grace and peace are sufficient for us as He lives in us and works powerfully through us, to will and to act beyond what we can think, imagine, or expect, according to His great and mighty power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).

As it is written, “The Spirit helps us in our weakness” (Romans 8:26), fortifying believers in Christ to walk in obedience to the Father's greater will and higher purpose for our lives. Through His blood, He cleanses us from all sin—past, present, and future—and heals us, ministering His grace to us daily. We experience the infinite riches of God's grace through faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:7).

Our Lord Jesus carries the heavy load for us and provides all we need each day to enable and empower us to walk in obedience to His light and grace. As we behold His glory, as in a mirror, we are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).

He is our heavenly friend, leading us through the thorny paths of life as we take up our cross daily (Luke 9:23). In Him, we find strength, comfort, and joy, as He faithfully guides us to a glorious and joyful end (Psalm 23:1-3).
