In Christ Jesus, we are a new creation, with the mind of Christ in us. We become a new spiritual person, once we put our faith in him as our lord and savior. Our old sinful nature was crucified on the cross with Christ, so we died on the cross with Christ. We are raised alive when Christ was resurrected from the dead by the power of God.
As the word of God states our old self has passed away, behold all things are made new. we become new spiritual beings, no longer slaves to the former evil desires and passions of our old selves.
As a new creation in Christ Jesus, we are given the mind of Christ so that we can be Christlike in our outlook, conducts, attitudes and behavior. We no longer conform to the patterns of the world but we renew our minds, each day with the word of God, being able to test and approve of what is God's will and purpose for our lives
With Christ being alive in us, we believe like Paul that we can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens us to do God's will and fulfill his purpose. Jesus Christ came into the to give us life. and so that we can have life in abundance. We become new spiritual beings being full and complete, overflowing with joy and gladness of heart as we in Christ Jesus celebrate and are glad every day in the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
