We are saved by grace so that no mortal can boast before God. We are all sinners saved by grace and called to repentance, and to put our faith in God, the Father of mercy and compassion.

God, in His infinite mercy, has called us to a new birth in Christ Jesus through His resurrection from the dead. We are called as believers to put our faith in God and His Son, and to live our lives in Him through the power of His Holy Spirit, which He has poured into our hearts.

We are saved by God’s grace so that no man can boast before God’s throne. We are called to submit our lives to God, not lean on our own understanding, and let the Spirit of God in us lead us on the right path.

We all fall short of God’s glory. As it is written: "Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath" (Psalm 62:9). God uses the foolish things of this world to shame the wise, the weak things to bring down the strong. He uses the things that are not to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him (1 Corinthians 1:27-29).

We thank God that He has given us a high priest in our Lord Jesus Christ, His Son, who, while in the flesh, was tempted on earth but was without sin. He empathizes with all our weaknesses, so that we can confidently come to His throne of grace, assured that we will receive mercy and grace in our times of need (Hebrews 4:15-16).
