As it is written:
"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to Your word. I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commands. I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You" (Psalm 119:9-11).

Young people save themselves by placing God’s Word in their hearts and living according to it. Likewise, the aged save themselves by being temperate, knowing God who has been from the beginning, and continuing to keep His Word.

As it is written:
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever he does prospers" (Psalm 1:1-3).

The way of the wicked leads to destruction; they will not stand in the assembly of the righteous. But the Lord watches over the way of the righteous (Psalm 1:5-6).

As it is written:
"Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is the Word of God who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). He is God’s truth and grace, the Light of the world, which darkness cannot overcome.

As the Light, He came so that all who believe in Him will no longer walk in darkness but will have the light of life (John 8:12).

Whoever believes in Him and receives Him into their hearts has the right to become children of God—redeemed from the power of darkness and brought into the kingdom of light (John 1:12-13, Colossians 1:13). These are God’s chosen people, saved by grace for the praise of His glory (Ephesians 1:6-7, 1 Peter 2:9).
