Jesus Christ is the king of glory, our lord and savior, who does not judge or condemn us when we sin or do wrong. He understands our weaknesses, for he was tested and faced temptations while in the flesh. Who can empathize with all our faults? He has only love and compassion for us as sinners.

We can come to him as we are. He loves us unconditionally, fully accepts us as our sins, and helps us by giving us his Holy Spirit to empower us in our weaknesses so that his power is displayed powerfully in our weaknesses and vulnerability.

In ourselves, we are weak, but in the power of Christ in us, we can be strong, for we can do all things through him who strengthens us. We give thanks to our savior who loves us, and when we fall, he helps us to get back up and hold up our hands, heals all our pains, and makes us whole again.

He protects us with his rod and staff as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death and the valley of troubles. He surrounds us with his presence and with his grace and mercy each day as we take the small steps with him as our warrior in our journey through this life

  • "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." - Hebrews 4:15-16
  • "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
  • "The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." - Psalm 103:8-12
  • "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13
  • "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." - Psalm 23:4
