One of the most important reasons to believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour is that He is our faithful friend, who laid down His life for us even while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). He knows our past—our weaknesses, failures, mistakes, guilt, and regrets. He can reach into our past, blot out all our sins, and give us a clean slate each day, as God has promised (Isaiah 43:25).
When we put our complete trust in Jesus as our Saviour, He forgives all our transgressions and will not bring them up against us again (Psalm 103:12). Christ nailed our sins to the cross when He died for us, and through Him, we can start fresh each day (Colossians 2:13-14).As Scripture says, “God keeps no record of our sins,” so that we can serve and worship Him with reverence (Psalm 130:3-4).
When we put our trust in Him, we find complete forgiveness and full vindication. By humbling ourselves, submitting to Him, and living obediently to His commands, we experience His grace and transformation (James 4:10; 1 John 1:9).
Put your complete faith and hope in God, for in Him we find true freedom, forgiveness, and peace. As it is written, if any of us sins, we have an advocate in heaven—our Lord Jesus, who intercedes for us. ""My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." John 2:1
