God is long-suffering and infinitely patient toward us sinners; He loves and cares for each of us. God is patient and long-suffering because He desires that everyone comes to the knowledge of His truth, repents of their sins, and receives the gift of eternal life through faith in His Son. We are saved by grace so that no one can boast before God (Ephesians 2:8-9).

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

God is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, for "with the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day" (2 Peter 3:8).

As it is written, God does not desire the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live (Ezekiel 33:11).

In believing in His Son, whom He sent as an atonement for sin, God rescued all who believed from the power of Satan, the prince of the air, who holds the world and its rulers in bondage (Ephesians 2:2).

"If the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts, and turn to the Lord, He will have mercy on them, and to our God, for He will freely pardon" (Isaiah 55:7). By believing in God's Son, they receive eternal life (John 6:47).

We pray to God to help us turn away from our sins and forgive us for the sins we commit knowingly and unknowingly, for no one can discern all their errors (Psalm 19:12).

We, like sheep, have all gone astray, each turning to our own way, and we fall short of God's perfect standards and commands. But in His infinite mercy and unconditional love for His creation, Jesus, His precious Son, was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5-6).

Jesus is the Bread of Life, and He gives life to all who put their faith in Him. By believing in the One God sent, we receive eternal life—salvation of our soul—that no force or person can take away from us (John 10:28).
