God’s invisible qualities and divine nature can be clearly seen through His creation so that no one has an excuse to claim they do not know Him or to say that He does not exist (Romans 1:20).

God is an immaterial, omnipresent Spirit, so vast that even the highest heavens cannot contain Him (1 Kings 8:27). He is a personal being with a will and enormous power. God is love (1 John 4:8); He cares deeply for His creation. He is the Creator who rules over the works of His hands—heaven and earth (Psalm 103:19).

He gives His Spirit to every living being that has breath (Job 33:4) and grants His Spirit to all who believe in His Son, helping us live in obedience to His commands (John 14:26). He offers the gift of eternal life to all who believe in the name of His Son so that none who believe shall perish (John 3:16). He is the God of peace (Philippians 4:9), the God of comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and the God of strength and power (Isaiah 40:29). He is the Almighty Creator, the Designer of creation and of our innermost being (Psalm 139:13-14).

God loves us so much that He gave His Son as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of mankind so that we may spend eternity with Him (1 John 2:2). He is infinitely patient and long-suffering toward us, knowing that we are like grass, worms, and grasshoppers—mere mortals before His throne of mercy, justice, and love (Isaiah 40:22; Psalm 103:15-16). All rulers and nations are less than nothing before Him; they are like dust on His measuring scale and like drops in a bucket (Isaiah 40:15, 17).

No one is good before God, for all have sinned and fallen short of His glory (Romans 3:23). We are like sheep, each going our own way, but by His wounds on the cross, by giving Himself up as an atoning sacrifice, all who believe in His name are saved (Isaiah 53:5-6). No one can boast before God, for we are saved solely by His grace, rescued from the coming wrath upon unrepentant sinners who refuse to turn from their evil ways and return to God, making Him their refuge and making peace with Him (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We all need God’s mercy and unconditional love, knowing we are sinners in need of complete forgiveness. We cannot save ourselves by our own righteousness or good works; our salvation is based solely on the finished work of Christ on the cross (Titus 3:5). By His blood shed on the cross, all our sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7). Justified by faith in His Son alone, we receive the free gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23) and the Holy Spirit to help us walk in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. His blood washes us clean from all our sins and transgressions (1 John 1:7).
