Quitters do not win, and winners do not quit. In Christ our Lord, we are redeemed children who are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Therefore, we hold on to the hand of the Lord in faith, learning from our mistakes, and stepping out in trust each day. By walking in obedience, we emulate great leaders of faith like Moses, who led the greatest exodus in human history.
Moses faced criticism, betrayal, and constant complaints along the way but succeeded in his mission of leading the Israelites out of Egypt and through the wilderness. He endured by looking forward to his reward in heaven, as Hebrews 11:26 says, "He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward." Similarly, Paul looked ahead to the crown of righteousness awaiting him, saying, "Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day" (2 Timothy 4:8). Paul also testified of his faith, seeing "Him who is invisible" (Hebrews 11:27).
We are called to believe, trust, and walk in obedience to God and Jesus, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, "the pioneer and perfecter of faith" (Hebrews 12:2). We know that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). With His strength and divine guidance, we can succeed in whatever He calls us to do in this world filled with sin and corruption.
As it is written " do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a reward, if you do not give up" Galatians 6:9. Winners do not quit. Like the saints who started in weakness but became strong in faith (Hebrews 11:34), we too are called to rejoice in our weaknesses and when we face trials or testing our faith, for in this way God built perseverance in us, if we stand firm and do not give up.
As Paul reminds us, "For when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Corinthians 12:10). God's grace is always sufficient for us in all circumstances. We are winners and more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, who is our light and strength , today and always (Psalm 27:1).
